I had a filling fall out whilst on holiday last year. I promised myself I would deal with it on my return and of course, I didn't. Each month that went by the remaining tooth was crumbling and still, I didn't sort it. So just eating a bit of bread on Saturday my remaining bit of tooth broke. My Husband has recently been treated here and I trust his advice. I called in on Monday afternoon to be given an appointment on Tuesday at 10.30 am. The remaining bit of tooth was then extracted on Thursday at 3 pm. I was very nervous when stepping through the door on Monday, but my fears were allayed once I had spoken to 2 Lisa and Suzanne. All 3 of them gave me the reassurance that I needed to carry out the procedures. I will go back for a check-up in 3 months and I have now booked to see the hygienist in April. Thank you, ladies, very happy and grateful for all of your help.
Here at Chingford Smile we're happy to offer white fillings to our clients. A composite filling is used to restore small gaps or cavities in teeth that may have resulted from decay, injury, or everyday wear and tear.
The composite filling is very popular and offer an alternative to metal amalgam fillings. If you are experiencing tooth sensitivity and suspect you may have a crack or cavity that needs to be filled, white fillings may be your preferred solution over silver fillings for the natural look.
At Chingford Smile we believe in early detection and treatment of any issues. We may identify the need for a filling before you realise anything is wrong through routine dental treatment with our dentists. Some patients might have a variety of symptoms indicating the need for additional treatment.
Composite/white fillings are the most popular choice when it comes to filling colours. They match the colour of your teeth more naturally, and they provide additional support to the tooth with their chemical bonding properties. They can also be used to reshape your teeth.
White fillings are made of a composite of ceramic and plastic, and they are mercury-free White fillings can sometimes also be used to replace existingfter your teeth so they remain free from plaque. You will also be advised on the best brushing technique
At Chingford Smile we offer tooth coloured fillings to treat new cavities as well as to replace existing amalgam, or heavily discoloured, fillings, for aesthetic purposes. Contact us today, to find out more about any of our filling treatments or book a consultation.
